Time to show off the new club colorway! If you don't want to know, don't look!
Geothermal Rainbow is the new club yarn inspired by the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone.
We focused on the gradient of the thermophillic bacteria in the hot spring because the colors were so fun. We added in a companion mini skein this time because we wanted a splash of the land around the pool, but we wanted you to be able to decide where to put it. Using the mini is, of course, completely optional if you'd rather just focus on the main skeins.
The main skeins are divided, color-wise, into thirds. The first 1/3 of the skein is a red to blue striping gradient. The center 1/3 is all blue. The final 1/3 is blue back out in the striping gradient, but it ends in orange. The first and last sections have stripes that get bigger as you get closer to the center of the skein. With a few less colors on the final 1/3 section, you end up with bigger stripes compared to those in the first 1/3.
Now, you can use the main skeins in whichever direction you want, we just wanted to make sure you knew that they are not mirror image in the skein.
Brenda just released a pattern called Feathered Feet that we think would look great with this colorway.
This is the link for downloading the pattern from Ravelry, it's free until September 21st: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/feathered-feet
