Crochet pattern alert!

Pia Thadani of Stitches n Scraps ( https://stitchesnscraps.com/ ) created this beautiful crochet scarf out of one of our fingering weight Shawl Balls in the Cyclone colorway.

The pattern is available for free on her website:

If you want a PDF copy you can download it from Ravelry for a small fee.

The website version has a great video tutorial and lots of photos for teaching you the crochet stitch she used. It is a really lovely, rhythmic pattern, perfect for our gradients!

She also has a tutorial on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBlxSdFjbe0

And a tutorial for a Chainless Starting Double Crochet toward the end of this video (about minute 14). Have you seen this kind of beginning to a crochet row? It's fantastic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mobVafo_XNc

Pia shows off her finished scarf in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLN8f0PxnSs

Since our Shawl Balls are jumbo sized, we do offer winding into a center pull ball for a small fee.

Follow along with Pia's crafting adventures!

We love the texture in this scarf. It really does look like sheet metal!
